AUGUST 2006

Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show - 27th August

Remy was entered in Limit Dog and was placed 4th. Heidi also gained 4th place in Limit Bitch. The judge was breed specialist Angela Skelton (Adnamashan Papillons). Lynflyer Holly Berry (Andy's daughter - bred & owned by Lynda Woodrow of Lynflyer Papillons) gained 1st place in Minor Puppy Bitch.

Our two male puppies have now gone to live with their new owners:

Papplewick Petroglyph (Jerry) has settled in well

with Lynda Woodrow of Lynflyer Papillons

Papplewick Pigeon Post (George) has flown across

the North Sea to join Margot Hornqvist of Candygolds

Papillons.

We wish Lynda and Margot much happiness and success with their new puppies.

Papplewick Paper Dove (Amy) is staying here with us.

JULY 2006

Northern & Eastern Counties Papillon Club Open Show - 23rd July

Remy gained 2nd place in Graduate Dog and Lottie was 4th in Junior Bitch. In the Brace Class they were awarded first place. The judge at this show was Karen O'Kane (Northlyte Papillons). Lynflyer Holly Berry (Andy's daughter & Robyn's litter sister) was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch. Holly is bred & owned by Lynda Woodrow (Lynflyer Papillons).

JUNE 2006

Blackpool Championship Show - 23rd June

Remy was placed 3rd in Yearling Dog and Heidi got 5th in Limit Bitch under all-rounder judge Betty Flavell.

Papillon (Butterfly Dog) Club Open Show - 10th June

Lottie attended her first UK show today and was placed 4th in Puppy Bitch. Remy was placed 4th in Junior Dog and Heidi was also 4th in Limit Bitch. The judge was Vesa Toivanen (Connections Papillons - Finland). Heidi was later awarded Best Fringes in Show.

MAY 2006

27th May - Unfortunately one of the pups has failed to thrive and died this morning.

24th May - 4 pups (3 boys, 1 girl) born to Pebbles this morning. Mother and babies doing well.

23rd May - Lottie arrives from Sweden. Her owners are very tired after a 1200 mile round trip and a ferry crossing in force 8 gale. Lottie travels like a dream and is very unconcerned!

Birmingham National Championship Show - 11th May

Heidi was placed 4th in Limit Bitch under breed specialist Carole Hatch (Macstrack Papillons).

Jerry had his first judging appointment at Selby Canine Society Open Show on May 7th and would like to thank all the exhibitors who supported the classes. He had some lovely dogs to go over and had a very enjoyable day.

APRIL 2006

We have had a new arrival. Bramble, a Skye Terrier puppy, joined the clan this week-end. She is bred by Karen Turnbull and is by Glorfindel Bossy Boots out of Glorfindel Fair Feisty. More details when photos are available. (She is very cute!)

MARCH 2006

Crufts - 11th March

Remy was placed 3rd in Junior Dog under breed specialist Malcolm Fowler (Anncolm Papillons).

Northern & Eastern Counties Papillon Club - Spring Open Show - 19th March

Remy was placed first in Junior Dog under breed specialist Vivien Coton (Aporia Papillons).

UK Toydog Championship Show - 25th March

Andy was placed first in Veteran Dog and later was Best Veteran in Papillons. The judge was breed specialist Elizabeth Cochrane of Tutyak Papillons.

JANUARY 2006

Manchester Championship Show - 22nd January

Remy was placed first in Junior Dog under breed judge Elizabeth Patrick (Volpecula Papillons). Andy gained 2nd place in Veteran Dog at the same show.
